Soccer school is back on and normal training for the older lot has resumed .... nice to see the regulars back at it, although how they have the energy from summer camp I have no idea!!

After a few words of thanks from the clubs chairman Colin, the time for medals and trophy`s was here (kids being like magpies they spied these right away).

Each day we ran a competition that all players competed in with a daily winner in each age group receiving a trophy (thats a lot of trophies).

In addition any child who attended the full 5 days was eligible to be in with a chance of being awarded Player of the week.

#hawkwellathleticfc recognises as a club that goal scoring alone does not determine good players and so #potw was awarded to the players who showed the best attitude, kindness, enthusiasm, overal dedication to the game and supporting others.

Each age group had a winner and they were so made up to receive these (very heavy) awards.

In addition every player was presented with a certificate of course completion and a medal for their efforts and amazing spirit throughout the week!
